| Standard Shipping: | | Our preferred carrier is FedEx based on their exceptional service, via their Ground Service and Home Delivery Service. In special circumstances, we may use UPS or other carriers at our sole discretion, to ensure timely delivery. FedEx Home Delivery is closed for deliveries on Sundays & Mondays, while FedEx Ground Service is closed Saturdays & Sundays. With this in mind, we plan for all frozen items to ship-out and travel non-stop for delivery within the same week to avoid having your important bison package sit idle over the FedEx weekend or holidays. Our standard nominal shipping charges are based on the total cost of your merchandise, per ship-to address. | | Expresss Shipping: | | Our standard shipping provides a maximum non-stop trip of three days for your package. For regions nearest to Kansas City, standard shipping may travel only one or two days. We ship only Monday through Friday, and never over the weekend. This insures that your package will be delivered in perfect condition. Since we don't ship over the weekend, if you're choosing a Tuesday or Wednesday delivery date to a standard 3-day zone, you will need to choose an Express option. | | Hawaii and Alaska: | | Orders to Hawaii and Alaska are of necessity shipped Overnight or 2-Day FedEx Express. In order to defray the additional costs, we add a surcharge of $20 per order to these shipments, in addition to the Express charge. Overnight Express arrives in two days, and 2-Day Express arrives in three days. | | Order Day: | | Any order received after 2:00 PM Central Time is applied to the following business day. You're welcome to place an order at any time for a future ship date, even months down the road. For urgent orders, you always have the option of having your package arrive earlier than the default arrival date by scheduling a different arrival date via Overnight or 2-Day Express Service. If your need is urgent, call us, and we’ll make every reasonable effort to get your order in and out that same day... after 2:00 PM, however, we can’t guarantee it. | | Holidays: | | Thank you for considering the gift of Bison for the upcoming Holiday Season. We take great care in delivering your barbecue in a safe and prompt manner developed over years of experience. We are naturally limited by holidays, and occasionally the days surrounding them. The following information and delivery map will help you in scheduling the delivery of your precious barbecue package. • Major national shipping companies - all of them -- enjoy record levels of traffic during the Holiday Season. It is during this busy season that all carriers suspend their usual guarantees for service times for ground shipments. No worries, we've been doing this for years, and will help guide you through to the successful delivery of your important package. We guarantee it! • If shipping the weeks of December 12 or 19, we are requiring you to choose Overnight or 2-Day Express Delivery when shipping to a 3-day zone: AK, CA, CT, FL, HI, ID, MA, MD, ME, MT, NH, NJ, NV, NY, OR, PA, RI, UT, VA, VT, WA, and WY. This guarantees your valuable package will arrive in perfect condition. • We ship our packages Monday - Friday. However, we don't allow shipments to travel during days that the carriers are idle (weekends, holidays). We cannot ship any package to a post office box for the reason that our products are perishable and need to be cared for as soon as possible after delivery. We also are unable to ship to APO/FPO addresses, addresses outside of the US, and even some remote locations inside the US, because experience has shown the inherent travel time is simply too long for perishable products to arrive in perfect condition. Rural Route addresses must include box numbers. We apologize, but we can no longer ship any frozen packages to remote US locations that are best served via the US Postal Service. Once again, experience has proven that frozen packages shipped through the US Postal Service to those remote locations fail to arrive on time, and in perfect condition. Just ask us, we'll prove it. | | Your Responsibilites: | | The accuracy of ship-to addresses and daytime telephone numbers for both the sender and recipient is your responsibility. It is also your responsibility to assure that the folks you are shipping to will be in town to care for their package the day it is delivered. We ship perishable products. While you may have a desire to surprise your recipients, it is tragic to have your gift spoil on their front porch because they are out of town or haven’t had occasion to check their porch for their box of barbecue. You don't have to necessarily tell them that New Grass Bison is on it's way, but we do strongly suggest that you let them know a perishable gift is coming. It is essential that someone be available to unpack and care for the order on the day it is delivered. If you can help us in this respect, New Grass Bison, Co. will most certainly deliver your important package in perfect condition. We guarantee it! Due to the perishable nature of our products, we do not require a recipient's signature for delivery at single unit residences as long as the local FedEx deliver person feels that leaving the package will be safe from prying eyes. All packages contain enough dry ice to survive at least through the evening. | | Customer guarantee: | | If you are not commpletely satisfied with New Grass Bison Co. products, we will gladly refund or replace your order. | | Return policy: | | You may return an item for refund or replacement within 30 days of the shipment date. Shipping and handling charges are non-refundable. All returns must be accompanied by the packing slip. When you return an item, follow the instructions on the packing slip, and most importantly, please indicate the reason for the return. You may want to insure your return; we cannot be responsible for lost or misdirected returns. If you paid for your order by credit card, a credit will be issued and will appear on your billing statement. |
